“And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, Esau came, and with him four hundred men. And he divided the children unto Leah, and unto Rachel, and unto the two handmaids. And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost. And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother. And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept. And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant. Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves. And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves. And he said, What meanest thou by all this drove which I met? And he said, These are to find grace in the sight of my lord. And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself. And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me. Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it. And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee. And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die. Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir. And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.” (Genesis 33:1-15)
Sometimes we just need to have some fun. I did that yesterday so I did not write the Blog I had intended to. This was my daily Bible reading yesterday:
“And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. And when Jacob saw them, he said, This is God’s host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim. And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom. And he commanded them, saying, Thus shall ye speak unto my lord Esau; Thy servant Jacob saith thus, I have sojourned with Laban, and stayed there until now: And I have oxen, and asses, flocks, and menservants, and womenservants: and I have sent to tell my lord, that I may find grace in thy sight. And the messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him. Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands; And said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape. And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the Lord which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude. And he lodged there that same night; and took of that which came to his hand a present for Esau his brother; Two hundred she goats, and twenty he goats, two hundred ewes, and twenty rams, Thirty milch camels with their colts, forty kine, and ten bulls, twenty she asses, and ten foals. And he delivered them into the hand of his servants, every drove by themselves; and said unto his servants, Pass over before me, and put a space betwixt drove and drove. And he commanded the foremost, saying, When Esau my brother meeteth thee, and asketh thee, saying, Whose art thou? and whither goest thou? and whose are these before thee? Then thou shalt say, They be thy servant Jacob’s; it is a present sent unto my lord Esau: and, behold, also he is behind us. And so commanded he the second, and the third, and all that followed the droves, saying, On this manner shall ye speak unto Esau, when ye find him. And say ye moreover, Behold, thy servant Jacob is behind us. For he said, I will appease him with the present that goeth before me, and afterward I will see his face; peradventure he will accept of me. So went the present over before him: and himself lodged that night in the company. And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok. And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had. And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.” (Genesis 32:1-25)
This is an Excerpt from my next book “Cancer Neutralize And Reversal Program:”
After I read my daily Bible reading the Holy Spirit said, “Your ‘New Name’ is ‘BJ.’ ‘BJ’ is the ‘Whole’ person.” Then He led me to verse 12.
The Holy Spirit also brought to my remembrances an Excerpt from the “In Search Of My Soul Mate” Segment of “The Trilogy,” which was:
I can add Jacob to the list of people I can relate to in the Bible. I said to the Holy Spirit, “I’m not going to let You go until You bless me.” God has got to bless me.
I don’t deserve it, but He promised. I don’t deserve it because if it hadn’t been for God I would have been gone. My life lined up to, “And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.” (Genesis 32:26).
After Jacob wrestled with God He changed his name to Israel. I said to the Holy Spirit, “What are You going to change my name to?” He said the Bishop’s last name. There was no hyphen with it either. Then He led me to this Scripture:
“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.” (Genesis 32:28)
WHAT IS YOUR NAME?
Today, which is Sunday, February 8, 2015 I will start introducing myself as “BJ.” The “B” of course is for Brenda. The “J” is the first letter of the Bishop’s last Name. There are no periods because the “J” doesn’t honor his last Name, but his Rib. The Words the Holy Spirit had spoken are fulfilled. God always fulfills His Word one way or another. God will fulfill His Word with or without people.
The “verse 12” the Holy Spirit led me to was Revelation 3:12. I did a Web Search and there are around 126 surnames that begin with “J.” The article “1 in 4 Americans Don’t Believe in God; Lack of Trust in Local Churches Cited as a Reason Why Adults Are Leaving the Faith,” (Article posted @ Facebook and Twitter) states:
Barna Group has released its 2015 study on the state of atheism in America, and has revealed that one in four unchurched adults in the country now identify as atheists or agnostics. The study also found that rejection of the Bible and lack of trust in the church are two main reasons why people are turning away from faith.
The study was focused on those who have not attended church within the past six months, and found that the majority of such people identify as non-practicing Christians. One in four, or 25 percent, however, were classed as skeptics, which Barna defines as people who “either do not believe God exists (atheists) or are not sure God exists, but are open to the possibility (agnostics).”
Of that number, nearly one-third said that they have never attended a Christian church service in their lives.
Barna found that the three main reasons people decide not to believe in God stem from rejection of the Bible; lack of trust in the local church; and the “cultural reinforcement of a secular worldview.”
“Skeptics dismiss the idea that the Bible is Holy or supernatural in any way. Two-thirds contend that it is simply a book of well-known stories and advice, written by humans and containing the same degree of authority and wisdom as any other self-help book,” the report said.
It added that the other one-third believe that the Bible is either a historical document that contains “the unique but not God-inspired accounts of events that happened in the past,” or do not really know what to make of the Bible.
That number will only continue to increase until preachers make right what they have done to the church. “Christianity” (Posted at this Website) is God giving preachers a starting point. I do not blame the world for not wanting to be part of the mess that goes on in the church today. I do not blame the world for not wanting to be part of all the division in the church.
“One-third said that they have never attended a Christian church service in their lives” is because of the church folk people see on their jobs and in the world. Most Christians are not living and walking the Christian Life Monday through Saturday. How Christians live and walk Monday through Saturday is how people are won. Christians not living and walking Monday through Saturday is what caused “Americans Approve More Of Gays Than Evangelicals,” (Article posted @ Facebook and Twitter) which states:
Americans approve more of gays and lesbians (53 percent) than evangelical Christians (42 percent). (Tweet this) When university professors were recently asked if there were religious groups toward which they harbored negative feelings, three percent reported such feelings toward Jews, nine percent toward non-evangelical Christians, 22 percent toward Muslims, but 53 percent toward evangelicals. And they are teaching the next generation of Americans.
The First Purposes of “The Trilogy” is to show the Bible is Truth. The BEST way to do that is by Living and Walking out the Bible. “God’s Process” (Posted at this Website) is people Living and Walking out the Bible.
Easter represents Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection, which is the first Three Levels of God’s Process. Jesus is our Example for God’s Process. Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection was to make Right the Wrong of Adam and Eve. Jesus’ Death, Burial and Resurrection Reconciled us back to God.
“The Re-Birth Of Christianity” (Posted at this Website) is complete, which means as far as God is concerned His Church is “Glorious.” That means preachers making right what they have done IS NOT for God’s sake, but for their sake. Preachers’ Eternity is at stake. There was a “Pin” on Pinterest that stated:
“ETERNITY IS A LONG TIME TO BE WRONG”
