Do You Know What Respect Is?

The first Title of this Blog was “Do You Know What Racism Is?”  I changed the Title because “Racism” is not the Issue.  The second Title of this Blog was “Are You Selling Out?”  That Title came from “Starbucks will temporarily close 8,000 U.S. stores for racial-bias training,” which states:

The announcement comes after the arrests of two black men in a Philadelphia store.
Amid outcry over the arrest of two black men in a Philadelphia Starbucks, the coffee chain announced Tuesday that it will close more than 8,000 U.S. stores for an afternoon next month to train workers in “racial-bias education.”
The stores will be shuttered on the afternoon of May 29, the company said in a press release, and its corporate offices will also be closed at that time. And nearly 175,000 employees will undergo the training.
“I’ve spent the last few days in Philadelphia with my leadership team listening to the community, learning what we did wrong and the steps we need to take to fix it,” Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson said in a statement. “While this is not limited to Starbucks, we’re committed to being a part of the solution.”
The stakes have been high for the coffee giant, and brand reputation experts said the company had a narrow window of time to tamp down public outrage.
“Closing our stores for racial bias training is just one step in a journey that requires dedication from every level of our company and partnerships in our local communities,” Johnson said.
The two men, whose identities have not been released, were arrested last Thursday after a Starbucks manager called 911. They had been sitting in the store without buying anything and refused to leave, according to police.
Johnson met privately on Monday with the two men, a spokesperson for the coffee giant confirmed to NBC News. He has apologized to the men and promised changes at the company.
The store manager who called police is “no longer at the store,” a Starbucks spokesman said Monday. It was not immediately clear whether the manager had been fired.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross said Saturday that the men had not purchased anything and refused to leave, which led to the arrest. The men were eventually let go after about eight hours in police custody, and Starbucks did not press any charges.
Michelle Saahene, who said she witnessed the incident, told NBC News on Sunday that the men were not permitted to use the bathroom because they had not purchased anything. They then sat at a table while using their phones as they waited for a friend, Saahene said.

Starbucks’ CEO actions were SELLING OUT “Respect.”  The CEO actions is Encouraging DISRESPECT because he “apologized” to Disrespectful Actions.  The CEO actions will now cause people to DISRESPECT his business and other businesses.  There is nothing wrong with people wanting people to make a purchase in their stores.  They are in business to make money.  A Coffee Shop is not like the MALL where people can SIT without having to buy anything.  I said in my “Are You Thinking Below The Surface?” Blog “The world has become a ‘Surface’ Society and is NOT ‘Thinking Below The Surface.’”  The CEO “Selling Out” by “apologized,” now people can call it racism.

I also said in that Blog “I have three ‘Thinking Below The Surface’ questions to leave you with.”  “One of the men arrested at a Philly Starbucks: This is not a ‘black people thing, it’s a people thing,’” is where the questions came from.  The article states:

Nelson described the events of last Thursday, which were caught on video, posted online, and went viral on the internet, stirring outrage and protests over whether this was a case of racial profiling. He said he asked to use the restroom immediately after walking into the Starbucks. But he said he was told it was for paying customers only.
Robinson said they were there for a “real estate meeting” and that they had been “working on this for months.” He said he conveyed that to the Starbucks employees when they asked if Nelson and he wanted anything to drink. “We’re fine. We’re just waiting for a meeting, and we’ll be out really quick type thing.”
When the police arrived in response to a 911 from the store about a disturbance, Robinson said he thought: “It can’t be for us.”
Nelson said, “As soon as they [officers] approached us, they said we have to leave. There was no question of … was there a problem here between you and the manager? [Or] what happened?”

He is right about “This is not a ‘black people thing, it’s a people thing.’”  People are already very DISRESPECTFUL.  First of all, if people want “Respect” they must first give “Respect.”  Also, “Respect” is EARNED not Demanded.  “Respect” is if you want to sit in a business you need to buy something.  After “Respect” is given then people receive “Respect” and they can use the bathroom “for paying customers only,” use their Free Wi-Fi and they will even give you water.  “Respect” is waiting for your friends outside if you do not want to buy anything.  A “really quick type thing” does not matter because it is a Coffee Shop NOT a Conference Room.

I am NOT white “white people will use the cops as their trump card (pun intended),” but I would have called the Police too and “things aren’t going their way” would have had nothing to do with it “Stop Calling the Police on Black People Just Because You’re Annoyed; You’re Gonna Get Someone Killed,” which states:

White people get really indignant over the smallest of things, especially when it comes to black people. They are easily offended by the little things we do, and they take extra offense if we don’t immediately fall in line and do what they say after they have taken their precious time to “scold” us about it.
As of late, we’ve seen many instances where our failure to do what they say as soon as they say it has led to their calling the police on us.
Let’s be honest—the police have been weaponized against black people, and white people will use the cops as their trump card (pun intended) when things aren’t going their way.
Despite the fact that calling the police on black people can result in black death, white people continue to do this simply because they can.
White people will unnecessarily escalate a situation just like the police will. It is a repetitive cycle.

DISRESPECT is NOT “the smallest of things.”  Not “As of late,” but since “The African” black people have become more and more DISRESPECTFUL “It is a repetitive cycle.”  It has gotten so BAD God had me address the Disrespect in “The Trilogy” (Purchase Button at this Website).  When actions are “Respect” there is NO need to “‘scold’ us about it.”

He was given “Respect” when he was asked “anything to drink.”  Again, it is a Coffee Shop NOT a Conference Room.  The person was NOT trying to make him “immediately fall in line and do what they say.”   He was DISRESPECTFUL with “We’re fine,” which translates to STOP TALKING TO ME or SHUTUP “get really indignant.”  Since he clearly was NOT listening and did not want to talk to that person they gave them NO other choice.  People are acting like the Police were called as soon as they walked in the door.  The Police didn’t need to ask “what happened” because there were NO cups.  “White people continue to do this simply because they can” and “It can’t be for us” translates to black people are NEVER the problem:

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (I John 1:8)

Starbucks’ CEO actions were also HYPOCRITICAL.  Starbucks’ CEO actions were hypocritical because “The store manager who called police is ‘no longer at the store.’”  The manager was ONLY doing their job how the company trained them to do it.  “Let’s be honest” McDonald’s and all of the rest of them train their employees to DO the same thing.  It had NOTHING to do with them being BLACK.  All Starbucks’ CEO had to do was make a statement to reflect that.  Instead Starbucks’ CEO threw the manager under the bus to make himself look good, which it did NOT.  “Temporarily close 8,000 U.S. stores” is truly Overkill.  Is the “racial-bias training” to tell the employees to let ANYONE sit in the Coffee Shop now without buying anything?  Is that the “promised changes?”  Homeless people of ALL colors will be very happy to hear that.

I said in my “Are You Thinking Below The Surface?” Blog “If I do not think it is WRONG to want to use your Conference Room what else am I CAPABLE of?  Will I also think it is NOT wrong to tell a customer to MOVE so I can use the table ‘We’re fine?’”  That is the other reason why I would have called the Police “After racial slurs in Miami McDonald’s line, a shot is fired. Was it self-defense?”  The article states:

Devin Gibbs just wanted McDonald’s.
But the visit to the North Miami-Dade Golden Arches unraveled when another patron accused him of cutting in line to order. That customer, an older white man, suddenly began spouting racial slurs and threats at Gibbs, a young black man. The episode ended with Gibbs in jail -- for firing a shot at the irate but unarmed customer, causing panic inside the restaurant.

“Let’s be honest” the Police are NOT the only ones doing the shooting.  I was “taught in the home” stick and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.  I admit I am like the Mafia when it comes to RESPECT.  I always give it and I EXPECT to receive it.  I will put up with a lot of things, but DISRESPECT is not one of them and the color of your skin does not exempt anyone from that.  My battle with the Titles is a reflection of an internal battle about continuing to write my Blogs.  People’s Minds are so FIXED CLOSED.

I wrote a Blog titled “Make A Fist!!!” Posted 12-2-2014.  The Title is what a CLOSED Mind looks like.  Have you noticed all of the “Fist” being seen lately?  I was thinking about stopping my Blogs when God Spoke to me in my daily Bible reading:

“For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:” (I Peter 2:15)

It is so Important to be in the Word of God daily.  The Bible is not the only way God Speaks.  He Speaks “Audible” through the Holy Spirit too.  The Voice of God NOT tongues is how people know they are Filled with the Holy Spirit.  People also know the Voice of God by the Holy Spirit Always Confirms what He Speaks in the Word of God.  The Holy Spirit does not Speak to me “Audible” as much as He use to because now I have the Mind Of Christ, which comes from “God’s Process” (Posted at this Website):

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;  And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;  And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.  For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.  But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.  Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” (II Peter 1:5-11)

The Holy Ghost, which is the Holy Spirit inside of us is the “Christ” in Jesus Christ:

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.” (I John 2:27)

NEVER forget satan, flesh and the mind talk too:

“And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:  And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.” (I Kings 19:11-12)

I was saddened about people giving awards to Colin Kaepernick.  The “As of late” is because Colin Kaepernick ATTACKED the Flag, which did NOT affect the Police at all and black people are paying the price for it.  Wrong always produced more WRONG.  People can say all they what that is not what he was doing, but that is what he DID “Colin Kaepernick: I won’t stand ‘to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people.’”  “Flag” is his own words.  His “Know Your Rights Camp” will do nothing but FILL young black people’s heads with HATE, which will get more black people killed.

A LOT of things makes sense now after the Holy Spirit Spoke, “You are looking at this wrong.  They are not praising him for what he is doing.  They are praising him to keep him doing it:”

“But the Lord said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.” (I Samuel 16:7)

Things are not always the way they seem on the Surface.  I was “taught in the home” RACISM is here to stay and “I” must “adjust” to it to be successful in this world.  I raised my son the same way.  NOT being white has NEVER stopped me or my son from doing ANYTHING.  What black people do not understand is white people have a “Mental Image” in their heads of how black people are.  The “adjust” is NOT to match that “Mental Image,” which proves them WRONG.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was teaching people NOT to match that “Mental Image.”  That is how RACISM is addressed.  Matching that “Mental Image” is what keeps racism going and makes white people RIGHT.  I smile when I see a confused “this is not the way you people are” look on people’s face, which says I do not match that “Mental Image.”  That comes from “the content of their character” Dr. King was talking about, the Word of God, the Holy Spirit and God’s Process.  White people are NOT the only people that have “Mental Image” of people “the police have been weaponized against black people” and the MEDIA is one way they are formed.  We all have them, but “Mental Image” is only a problem when they are made up with incorrect information or PRIDE does not let go of the WRONG ones.

The Xs and Ys are MATCHING that “Mental Image” more than ever.  President Trump keeps matching the “Mental Image” people have of him too.  My son is always telling me “That’s the old way.”  My response to that is “Your new ways does not get rid of the old way:”

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9)

“Respect” and Good Manners will ALWAYS be the WAY.  People need to be taught the RIGHT way.  Instead of keeping people in an emotional frenzy the church MUST start teaching people the RIGHT way.  “Know Your Rights Camp” will ONLY make black people keep matching that “Mental Image.”

GOD WILL JUDGE PEOPLE THAT JUDGE PEOPLE BY THE COLOR OF THEIR SKIN.
