I love the television show “Hawaii Five-O!!!” The article “The Asian stars of ‘Hawaii Five-O” quit the show after CBS refused to pay them as much as their white costars” broke my heart. The article states:
“Hawaii Five-0” stars Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park have left the CBS show after the network refused to pay them as much as their white costars, Variety reports.
Sources told the outlet that Kim and Park were seeking salaries equal to those of stars Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan, but they were unable to reach a deal with the show’s producer, CBS Television Studios.
CBS’s final offer to the two actors was reportedly “10-15% lower” than the salaries of their two white costars.
A representative for the network told Variety in a statement: “We are so appreciative of Daniel and Grace’s enormous talents, professional excellence, and the aloha spirit they brought to each and every one of our 168 episodes. They’ve helped us build an exciting new Hawaii Five-0, and we wish them all the best and much success in their next chapters. Mahalo and a hui hou.”
I love action movies and “Hawaii Five-O” is a weekly action movie. I LOVE Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park characters, but I turn “Hawaii Five-O” on because of Alex O’Loughlin character, NOT because of them. Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park characters have “helped us build an exciting new Hawaii Five-0,” but Alex O’Loughlin character makes “the show.” Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park characters will be missed, but the show will go on. If Alex O’Loughlin character leaves the show, which is what would happen if they made as much money as he does “the show” would be OVER. NO one else can play his character like he does just like NO one else can play Ironman, Captain America or Gibbs on “N.C.I.S.”
The above is why Alex O’Loughlin should make more money than them. Obviously, CBS feels the same way. The color of his skin has nothing to do with it. Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park NOT seeing that means they are “Full Of Yourself.” It sounds like they should have tried to be more like the wonderful characters they played. I see now they were truly ACTING.

At least they are working, which a lot of actors and actresses cannot say. I’m sure there are a lot of actors and actresses not working that would love to be on a show that is in the top twenty of the most watched television shows.
More and more people are making EVERYTHING about RACE. People have lost just being PEOPLE. I said in my “What Is Inside Of You?” Blog “Some people just do things because ‘What Is Inside’ is Mean and HATEFUL and their issues are much deeper than the color of skin.” The number one thing that causes people to have ISSUES is being “Full Of Yourself.” When people are “Full Of Yourself” there is NO ROOM for God. I said in my “Do You Have Wisdom?” Blog “Arrogance makes people not SEE themselves.” Arrogance comes from people being “Full Of Yourself.” It is Arrogant for them to think they should make as much money as Alex O’Loughlin.
People being “Full Of Yourself” has caused people to lose helping someone else. EVERYONE wants to be the Chief. I hate to be the one to tell you, but everyone doesn’t have what it takes to be the Chief. It does not matter how special YOU think you are.
I said in my “Are You Learning Your Lessons?” Blog “Nowadays people are using how they FEEL to determine Right and Wrong.” Nowadays people also think everything should be equal. NOTHING is EQUAL!!! It has NEVER been or will it EVER be. Everything is determined by people’s abilities. The only exception to that is being born with a silver spoon. The Bible has an Example for EVERY situation and it has an Example for this too:

Since they played the race card the same thing happened with Shemar Moore getting his OWN show “S.W.A.T.”

On a dark Friday two thousand years ago, Jesus of Nazareth was crucified. Powerful members of the religious, political, and military communities colluded to strip him naked, mock him publicly, and crucify him. Yet two millennia later, Christians—who believe that Jesus is the Son of God—celebrate that dark day by calling it Good Friday.
Why on earth would Christians refer to this day as “good” Friday?
It’s called Good Friday because even while powerful men were conspiring to kill the Son of God, God himself was acting to save the world from itself, once and for all. Even while the world’s authorities were conspiring to perpetrate history’s greatest evil, God was working to bring about history’s greatest good.
It didn’t have to be this way. After all, God created the world as his good kingdom in which humans could flourish, and in which they would never have to experience evil. Yet, the very first couple, Adam and Eve, decided to seize power for themselves and, in so doing, introduced evil into God’s good kingdom. From that day forward, humanity would live in a world riddled by evil and its consequences.
In the aftermath of Adam and Eve’s mutiny, God promised that he would one day send a Savior who would undo evil. That Savior was Jesus. The Bible says that “God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).
But what does Jesus’ crucifixion have to do with him saving the world? In response to that question, here are three things Jesus’ crucifixion accomplished, which together provide a powerful explanation of why Christians call that dark day “Good Friday”:
1. On the cross, Jesus suffered so that we would not have to suffer.
Unlike other religions Christianity teaches that all of us are born with a tendency to sin. Like Adam and Eve, we refuse to recognize God as God and we break his law repeatedly. Because God is the universal King and ultimate Law-giver, our sins are mutinous; they represent an attempt to steal his kingship and replace his laws. The Bible teaches that all of us deserve death as the penalty for our law-breaking.
Yet the Bible also teaches that God loves us and does not want us to suffer the penalty of our sin. For that reason, he took on a human body and came to earth as Jesus. When he did that, he “traded places” with us. He lived the sinless life that we should have lived, and died the death that we deserve to die. He took our guilty record, died for it, and offers us his perfect record in return. That is why the apostle Paul declared that “there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Rom 8:1).
2. Through the cross, we can be reconciled to God and each other.
Because of our sins, we alienate ourselves from God and others, but Jesus saves us from our sins in order to mend those relationships. That is why the Bible says, “For it pleased the Father that . . . by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross” (Col 1:19-20). In fact, Jesus’ reconciling powers will cause all relational barriers to be torn down, including the barriers of ethnicity and nationality (Rev 5:9-10).
3. Because of the cross and resurrection, we have hope for the future.
The Bible connects Jesus’ crucifixion with his resurrection. After Jesus suffered on the cross, he was buried, but on the third day he rose from the grave! When he rose from the dead, he not only confirmed his divinity but declared that he would return one day to make things right. He will return to disestablish evil, sin, and death from their artificial throne, and establish himself as the true King over a kingdom characterized by justice, peace, and love (Rev 21-22).
Until that day, he leaves us with a two-fold invitation: He invites us, first of all, to embrace him as the Savior that he is, to trust in him alone for our salvation. The Bible teaches that he alone can save (Acts 4:12) and that there is no sinner too bad for him to save (1 Tim 1:15). But he invites us, second of all, to allow his saving power to electrify our lives, turning us into the type of people whose speech and actions are patterned after his.
It does seem odd to refer to anybody’s death as “good.” Yet, God’s good plan is often counterintuitive: As Jesus says, “He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life will find it; “the first are the last and the last are the first” (Mark 10:31); and yes, through the “good” death of God’s Son, humanity can receive true life (Rom 5:10).
Awesome article, but I do not want people to be in error. Actually, “the very first couple, Adam and Eve” were not the first couple. God used Adam and Eve to show “His Model” for Marriage, how man and woman was made and for the First Lesson in the Bible. These were the first people:
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. “Be fruitful, and multiply” can only be done with a man and a woman making them “the very first couple.” “On the cross, Jesus suffered so that we would not have to suffer” is NOT True. It is true “He lived the sinless life.” It is also true “He took our guilty record, died for it, and offers us his perfect record in return.” Jesus is our Example for “God’s Process.” Jesus “lived the sinless life” to show people how to “Sinless.” “Sinless” is the Life people must Live. God’s Process is how people Live “Sinless.” God’s Process is how people become the Image of Jesus, which is “turning us into the type of people whose speech and actions are patterned after his.” Finishing the first three Levels of God’s Process is also how people get “his perfect record in return:”
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)
People want the first part of that Scripture, but people must DO the last part of it to get the first part of it. The BIGGEST mistake people make is they WALK “after the flesh” instead of the Spirit. God’s Process is “the Spirit.” People get “no condemnation” by finishing the first three Levels of God’s Process.
The Bible does not teach God “does not want us to suffer the penalty of our sin.” God is a God of “Justice.” “The penalty of our sin” is “Consequences of our choices.” People thinking, they will not have to suffer for the “Consequences of our choices” is why people act the way they do.
Because people are the way they are most of the time “Suffering” is the ONLY thing that makes people change. Jesus’ Suffering showed we would have to Suffer too. His Suffering also shows if people die after the suffering there will be a Resurrection. The “Die” is not dying in terms of death, but “Dying” to sin:
“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” (I Peter 2:21)
People being “Full Of Yourself” means they have not used what God Put inside of them before the Foundation of the World. I also said in my “What Is Inside Of You?” Blog “Also ‘God’s Process’ (Posted at this Website) is how people get ‘What Is Inside’ out. God’s Process Surfaces the Information God Put inside of us before the Foundation of the World and anything else that should NOT be there.”
People Surfacing the Information God Put inside of them before the Foundation of the World cause “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” People NOT surfacing that information cause “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” When people are “Full Of Yourself” they do NOT realize helping someone else is how people get help when they need it. When people are “Full Of Yourself” they do NOT realize helping someone else is how they get to “thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

Because people are the way they are most of the time “Suffering” is the ONLY thing that makes people change. Jesus’ Suffering showed we would have to Suffer too. His Suffering also shows if people die after the suffering there will be a Resurrection. The “Die” is not dying in terms of death, but “Dying” to sin:
“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:” (I Peter 2:21)
People being “Full Of Yourself” means they have not used what God Put inside of them before the Foundation of the World. I also said in my “What Is Inside Of You?” Blog “Also ‘God’s Process’ (Posted at this Website) is how people get ‘What Is Inside’ out. God’s Process Surfaces the Information God Put inside of us before the Foundation of the World and anything else that should NOT be there.”
People Surfacing the Information God Put inside of them before the Foundation of the World cause “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” People NOT surfacing that information cause “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” When people are “Full Of Yourself” they do NOT realize helping someone else is how people get help when they need it. When people are “Full Of Yourself” they do NOT realize helping someone else is how they get to “thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
