Are You Into Life As Much As God Is?

God is “Into Life:”

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

God is so “Into Life” that He Promised us 120 years:

“And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3)

God is so “Into Life” that He sent Jesus to this Earth:

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

God is so “Into Life” that He even Designed our bodies to keep us Alive.  Our bodies’ Number One Purpose is to keep us Alive.  Keeping us Alive is why our blood clots when we cut our finger.  My daily Bible reading wanted to get in on this too:

“With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” (Psalm 91:16)

Adding Strength Training to my “BJ Total Body Health Program” was the best thing I ever did for my health and my body.  Strength Training not only Builds Muscle, but it also makes people Strong.  Sometimes people really get out there when it comes to Yoga.  I see a lot of articles like “How Yoga Can Help You Create Intimacy In Your Relationship.”  I ONLY do Total Body Strength Training Yoga.  People can do whatever they need to do, but I do not do any sun salutation poses.  I ONLY Worship God.  I do not meditate through Yoga either.  I ONLY Meditate on the Word of God.  I am also not trying to be one with the universe through Yoga.  Reading the Word of God Daily, my Relationship with God through the Holy Spirit and “God’s Process” (Posted at this Website) is how I became One with God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost.

There are a lot of other Strength Trainings out there.  People must find what they like and make it a Lifestyle.  Liking the Exercise and making it a Lifestyle is the only way people will stick to it.  I said in my “Are You Paying Attention To The Little Things?” Blog “It is the “Little Things” that make the difference.”  Here is some “Little Things” about Muscle in this e-mail article titled, “4 Ways Muscle Can Change How You View Yourself” from “Very Well,” which states:

To be committed to your fitness, you have to strength train. Cardio is great, but you need muscles for your metabolism to be fired up and to get a strong body. The more muscle you have, the more equipped your body is for your workouts, athletic events, and everyday movements (functional fitness). So, if you aren’t strength training, it’s never too late to start. If you are currently weight training, did you know building muscle can actually change how you view yourself?
Here are four ways strength training does more for you than you might think:
1) Muscle makes you feel mentally strong. When you use your bodyweight, hand weights, circuit machines, and muscle-building tools like resistance bands, kettlebells or exercise balls, you are building your physical strength. But something else is happening too. As you work on getting a stronger body, it immediately translates into feeling more mentally strong. You are respecting your body and taking care of it well. As you see your progress with endurance or lifting heavier weights, you start to see yourself as a strong person. When your thoughts are: “I am strong,” you feel more mentally tough too. You are establishing resilience and grit. You become better equipped for the challenges that pop up in your life outside of the gym.
2) Muscle gives you proof of your workouts. We all gravitate toward immediate gratification.
We want to do a workout and see proof in the mirror the next day, but we all know it takes more than one workout to see results. When you weight train regularly, you will begin to see differences in your body. Muscle takes up less volume than fat, so strength training regularly can really sculpt and tone your body.
If you consistently workout with weights, you develop muscles you couldn’t see before and you see more definition. What you do it the kitchen matters, but strength training also plays a significant role in how you look in the mirror.  Seeing a muscular and sculpted body that you built is an incredibly powerful feeling.
3) Muscle helps you look and feel young. Call it the science of telomeres, those caps at the end of chromosomes that control aging. Recent studies have found a link between regular exercise and the lengthening of the telomeres, essentially slowing down the aging process. But there are so many other things muscle-building activities do to keep you young. You build and preserve your muscle to keep you strong with full mobility. Your skin glows. You have a better chance to stave off chronic illness. You reduce stress, increase flexibility and gain energy. And when you do a heart-pumping muscle-building workout, you get those same runner’s high endorphins that make you feel on top of the world.
When you are fit with muscle, you radiate health and that keeps you looking (and feeling) young.
4) Muscle gives you confidence. When you feel strong physically, you know there is a lot you can do. You believe in yourself and that fuels your confidence. A strong body can perform better at sports and with every day activities where you need to lift, bend and stretch. A strong, muscular body is less prone to injuries. Knowing how strong you are and liking how you look gives you a positive attitude and makes you feel good. Keeping your commitments to work out regularly helps raise your belief in yourself too. Bonus: Good muscle tone helps with your posture and standing tall just exudes confidence.
Next time you work your muscles, keep in mind that you are doing more than achieving a strong body, you are empowering your mind too.

One of the “Little Things” I found about Muscle is it requires more Energy or Calories than Fat to Maintain.  I found my Calories were too low for the Muscle I had gained.  Since our bodies are “Into Life” and its Number One Purpose is to keep us Alive my body went into Starvation Mode.  Starvation Mode is we are not eating enough calories and our bodies think we are going to starve.  Our bodies start holding onto everything trying to protect us.  I could tell I was in Starvation Mode because my stomach got large and round like you see in the pictures of starving children, which is very sad.  I increased my daily Calories consumption by 200 calories per day.  Since our bodies are so protective of us it takes around two to three weeks for our bodies to trust us again.  Once our bodies see we can be trusted and are not staving it will come out of Starvation Mode and stop holding onto everything.

Another “Little Things” I found “Muscle takes up less volume than fat,” but the Volume of Muscle is Denser or Thicker than the Volume of Fat which means Muscle is Heavier than Fat.  Even though my weight was slightly increasing my body was getting Leaner.  That was when I stopped being so focused on the scale and stopped weighing once a month.

God is so “Into Life” that He gave us the Holy Spirit.  God is so “Into Life” that He gave us the Bible.  God is so “Into Life” that He gave us God’s Process, which is “my salvation:”

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” (II Peter 1:3)

Since God is “Into Life” I hope this e-mail article titled, “Essential Secrets To Aging Gracefully” from “MBG” will help people get “Into Life As Much As God Is:”

We all grow older. It’s the one thing that every human shares in common. And yet, so many of us fight this inevitability—we worry about how we’ll look, how we’ll feel, what we’ll do with our time, when we’ll die. We perceive only our youth as a time of excitement, ambition, and hope. Growing older is often seen as just an inevitably slow decline.
But it doesn’t have to be that way! After all, as you grow older, you have the added benefit of experience, wisdom, and perspective. When done with intention and grace, growing older can be a wonderful and enriching experience.
Here are just six ways you can begin to grow older gracefully starting today:
1. Figure out what you like to do.
Growing up often feels like it’s accompanied by a barrage of other people’s—your parents, your teachers, the media, your peers—opinions of who you should be and what you should do. But growing older allows you the opportunity to reassess and figure these things out for yourself. Sure, your parents or your peers might have been onto something, but make the time to sit with yourself and consider: What do I like to do for fun? What’s the mark I want to make on the world? How do I want people to remember me when I die? These are big questions with important answers—answers that only you can give. Get clear on those answers as you grow older.
2. Learn how to fail well.
Failing, much like growing older, is inevitable. And contrary to popular belief, it is a good thing! In fact, failing well is the sign of a well-lived life. It means that you dreamed big and you tried hard. So what does it mean to fail well? It means to understand the positive power of failure. It means to pursue big and important dreams, even if you might fail. And failing well means picking yourself back up again, learning the powerful lessons, and trying again. Failure is an incredible catalyst for growth—and those of us who grow older trying and failing and trying and failing and trying again will see the greatest amount of positive growth by the time we’ve grown to a happy, old age.
3. Practice forgiveness.
Perhaps the greatest spiritual teacher for all of us, young and old, is forgiveness. It’s a powerful practice that—as with anything—becomes easier the more you do it. And it’s a practice that we all need to revisit time and again throughout our lives. Sometimes we’ll need to forgive someone else, and very often we’ll need to forgive ourselves, so it’s crucial to learn how to do it well and do it often if we want to live happy, conscious, fulfilled lives. The most important thing to remember about forgiveness? It’s not about condoning bad behavior; it’s about freeing yourself from reliving that bad behavior over and over and over again when you hold onto it. We are all basically good—and we all deserve that freedom.
4. Be curious.
Learning is not just for the young. And being curious is not just for kids. It’s a lifelong pursuit, and an open, curious mind is crucial for growing older gracefully. Make it a practice to be perpetually curious, to keep your mind open and explore what’s possible beyond what you could have ever imagined. Be willing to learn more about other cultures, spiritual practices, and different political and social views. No one is saying you have to change your mind—just be curious about what you may not know, and constantly be on the lookout for new ways of thinking, living, and being in the world. It’s that childlike curiosity that got you this far; don’t give it up just because you’re growing older.
5. Take care of your body.
As you grow older, it becomes more and more important to take care of your body—to fill it only with those things that will nourish and support its growth. Of course, this is an important practice no matter your age, but growing older gracefully—in other words, feeling strong, smart, and well-supported as you age—requires that you intentionally take care of yourself. Remember that you are a unique individual, and so is your body; take the time to find out what your body needs to thrive. What are the foods that nourish you and give you energy? What exercises do you find fun and challenging? What spiritual practices give you clarity of mind and purpose? Protect your forever home on this Earth and you’ll find that growing older is a piece of cake.
6. Try new things.
Getting older doesn’t mean remaining stuck in your routines! Continue to explore what excites you, what scares you, what interests you. Consider activities that you might not have been brave enough to do when you were younger. Always wanted to jump out of an airplane? Do it! Intrigued by the idea of a silent meditation retreat? Sign up! There are no hard and fast rules that say you can only adventure in your youth. Your entire life is meant to be an adventure, so treat it as such—and treat yourself to exploring all of the new and exciting things you want to try for the rest of your life!

“Health Tip” from Healing With Nutrition” finishes this off:

The body is a miraculous organism, performing millions of functions non-stop using available materials, and making substitutions as necessary.  The body is designed to win, and to survive.  Under duress, it will shift resources from less vital functions to vital ones to sustain life.  Work with the body when ill to maximize it’s efficiency rather than fighting it, and trust that all symptoms serve a purpose that can reveal the nature of imbalance in the body.

COMING INTO THIS NEW YEAR IS THERE ANYONE INCLUDING YOURSELF THAT YOU NEED TO FORGIVE?

MAY THE LOVE, PEACE AND JOY OF JESUS MAKE YOUR CHRISTMAS MERRY!  HAVE A HAPPY, SAFE AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEARS!!  GOD BLESS YOU!!!
