June 26, 2013 was not a “Wonderful day for America”

Wednesday, June 26, 2013 was not a “Wonderful day for America” as stated in the article “Supreme Court strikes down Defense of Marriage Act, paves way for gay marriage to resume in California.” (Article posted @ Facebook and Twitter)

The Supreme Court heard cases for Proposition 8 and DOMA.  The Judges’ Spiritual Purposes is to protect the Defense of Marriage Act, which means satan only had to get to one.  It was a 5-4 decision.  This is just another example of the influence the President had.  The article stated:

“In the second case, the court said that it could not rule on a challenge to Proposition 8, a ban on gay marriage in California passed by voters there in 2008, because supporters of the ban lacked the legal standing to appeal a lower court’s decision against it.”

The people voted in Proposition 8.  The Congress voted in DOMA and it was signed by the President.  The Supreme Court should have overturned the Proposition 8 lower court’s decision.

What the Supreme Court ruling says is what the people and Congress vote on and what the President signs means nothing.  What their ruling really says is the Supreme Court just made themselves the last word.  The real story with DOMA and Proposition 8 is the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court ruling on DOMA is unconstitutional.  They violated the Congress right to make laws.  The Constitution of the United States – Article I – Section 8 – Powers of Congress states:

“To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.”

An article titled, “Traditional Marriage Backers: Court Set Bad Precedent” states, “Backers of Prop 8 say the court has set a dangerous precedent that in effect neutralizes the will of the people who vote.”

The article also states:

“Even Justice Anthony Kennedy, who voted to strike down the key part of DOMA, sided with the California voters who approved Prop 8.  “The essence of democracy is that the right to make law rests in the people and flows to the government, not the other way around,” he said.  “The California initiative process embodies these principles and has done so for over a century.”

The Supreme Court changing any of the laws the Congress has voted in diminishes the Powers of the Congress and the President, which signs the laws.  The Supreme Court ruling on Proposition 8 and DOMA means anything the people vote in or any laws the Congress votes in the Supreme Court can make them null and void.

In essence that means only the Supreme Court has a voice.  Unfortunately their voice is not the voice of the people.  If that is the case then why should people bother to vote and why do we even need a Congress?
