Bible Study:  I Peter 4

Again there were so many riches in my daily Bible reading:

“Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.  For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:  Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:  Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.  For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.  If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.  But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.  Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.  For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?  And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?  Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” (I Peter 4:1-19)

“Christianity” (Posted at this Website) is “judgment must begin at the house of God.”  God put Christianity on the Earth to be a Light for the world.  Christianity cannot be a Light with all of the confusion that goes on in the church today.

Christianity cannot be a Light when it looks more like the world than the world looks like the world.  Christianity cannot be a Light not operating in the Word of God.  Christianity cannot be a Light when gays have more power than it does.  Christianity cannot be a Light when it glorifies preachers more than it does God.

“The fiery trial” is God’s Process.  Jesus is our Example for God’s Process because “Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh.”  We must “arm yourselves likewise with the same mind.”  “God’s Process is what cause us to “he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin.”  From that “he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.”  We must understand all of us are going to “give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.”

“The Re-Birth Of Christianity” (Posted at this Website) set up “The Rapture” which means “the end of all things is at hand.”  It is time for people to get serious about their Eternity.  We all are “saved,” which means we all will be alive.  The question is, “Where will you be alive?”

There are only two options, Kingdom of Heaven and Hell.  Kingdom of Heaven is “partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.”  Hell is “suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.”

Suffering is part of the world and part of the Christian Walk.  Since we are going to suffer either way we might as well suffer for the Kingdom of Heaven.  We might as well “if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.”  We might as well “suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.”

This is what people receive for suffering for the Kingdom of Heaven:

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.” (Revelation 21:4, 21)

“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” (John 14:2-3)

This is what people receive for suffering for the World: (Hell – Posted at this Website)

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

“So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,  And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 13:49-50)

That begs my next question, “Between the two are people really still trying to decide?”  It takes an Act of Faith to start each Level in God’s Process.  We cannot please God without faith.  Then we add works to our faith:

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.” (Hebrews 11:6-7)

It is time for Christianity to get back to the Word of God.  It is time for preachers to “speak as the oracles of God.”  It is time for “be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.  And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”  It is time for “ye run not with them to the same excess of riot.”

It is time for “lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries” to end.  It is time for us to “live according to God in the spirit.”  It is time for “God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”

My daily Bible reading today confirmed this Blog:

“Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;  Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.  And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.  Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:  Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.  To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (I Peter 5:2-11)

PEOPLE BETTER MAKE A DECISION BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT AND NOT MAKING A DECISION IS STILL A DECISION MADE!!!
