“Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” (Hebrews 4:1-13)
I know people do not want to hear my message because I am not telling them they are wonderful. I am not saying I am wonderful either. I know I can be a trip. I know I need the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in my life daily. I know my “righteousnesses are as filthy rags” so if you think you are more than that you are only lying to yourself:
“But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” (Isaiah 64:6)
I know people do not want to hear my message because I am not telling them they do not have to change. People cannot grow without change. We must have foundational principals that never change. Those principals are what makes us know the difference between right and wrong.
I had my Dream in 1977. I left Kansas City in 1978 “In Search Of” the man in my Dream. My life had been a whirlwind since 1978. I did not get to “rest” until 2014. I am truly enjoying rest.
I refuse to lie to people and tell them those 36 years were easy. They were very hard! Some of them even horrible, but in the end my Eternity is Secure. Securing our Eternity must be the most importance thing in our lives. This world is going to pass away, but Eternity is Forever.
Going through “The Trilogy” I saw I have been using the wrong word. The world got it right! That is why they named the show the way they did. The world saw they are preachers. I have been so hard on Pastors and I am very sorry. Preacher is the word I should be using. Preachers are telling people they are wonderful because wonderful is how they feel about themselves. It is preachers these Scriptures are talking about. I even have “preachers” written beside them in my Bible:
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matthew 7:22-23)
Preachers are not telling people they must change because preachers are not about to change. All preachers want to do is preach, be seen and be applauded. Preachers are not preaching the Word of God because they are too busy telling people how wonderful they are. If preachers preached the Word of God the Word would show them they are not that wonderful.
I make general statements. I try to throw in “Not all” for people that miss that. No people can be put in any one basket. If what I say upsets you that means you are a preacher. Pastors with clear conscience know what I say is Truth and does not apply to them because they are doing what God has Called them to do. “The Trilogy” is only to help them do what God has Called them to do. God knows who has His Heart:
“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” (Jeremiah 3:15)
“Rest” comes from finishing the first three Levels of God’s Process, which is in “The Trilogy” and in my “Bible Study: Galatians 2” Blog Posted 11-24-2014. Jesus is our Example for God’s Process. He came to this Earth as Man like us. That means he felt all of the pain He endured on The Cross. Even with that He did not sin:
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:15-16)
Jesus understands what we go through because He went through it. He knows how ugly jealous and envious people can be. People were jealous and envious of Jesus more than anything else.
“The works were finished from the foundation of the world” means it is already done. All we have to do is “WALK IT OUT.” God’s Process is us “WALKING IT OUT.” God gave us the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to help us. Along with that Jesus is making intercession for us on the right hand of His Father. Being on the right hand of His Father means He made it. That should tell us we can make it too:
“Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (Romans 8:34)
“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.” (Revelation 3:21)
Three things stop us from making it. The first is satan. We are in a daily battle for our souls. The only thing he backs off from is the Word of God. The second thing is fear. It is fear that “harden” our heart. The third thing is unbelief. God did not give us a Spirit of fear and it is already done so there is nothing to have unbelief about:
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (II Timothy 1:7)
God sees everything we do. Nothing is hide from Him. Before you do something you should not be doing remember God is watching. Jesus was in the same flesh that we are in, but He did not sin. That begs the question, “Why do we sin so much?”
2015 is the year for people to DO what Jesus would DO instead of wearing it on a tee shirt. 2015 is the year to secure or at least be on the way to securing our Eternity. 2015 is the year to sin less than we did in the prior years. If we do that then we can start putting colleges where the prisons are as stated in the article “The U.S. has more jails than colleges. Here’s a map of where those prisoners live:” (Article posted @ Facebook and Twitter)
“There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.” (Job 34:22)
“Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:24)
My daily Bible reading today confirmed this Blog:
“So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;” (Hebrews 5:5-9)
